NLLEA is pleased to announce that the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, Alcohol Law Enforcement Branch is co-hosting the 2018 NLLEA training symposium. The symposium will be held in Jackson Springs, North Carolina from March 26-28, 2018.
The symposium will be held at the Samarcand Training Academy. Lodging is included in your symposium registration and includes single rooms and shared bathrooms. You may arrive on Sunday, March 25 and depart on Thursday, March 29. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for March 26 through March 28 are included with your registration. There will be a networking reception off-site the evening of Monday, March 26 and an optional use of North Carolina’s VirTra 300 Training Simulator, a five screen 300 degress immersive training environment, after classes end on Tuesday, March 27.
The three closest airports to Jackson Springs are Greensboro (about an hour drive) and Raleigh/Durham or Charlotte (each about 1 ½ hour drive). We encourage attendees to rent cars to get to and from the airports as well as to any off-site locations they may wish to visit after each training day ends.
