Update: National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA) Cancels Training Symposium

Dear NLLEA Members and Partners,

With the evolving global impact of COVID-19 which has impacted state and government travel, as well as concern for its members and partners, the National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA) has decided to cancel its 2020 Training Symposium.  The event was scheduled for May 12-14 at the Red Lion Hotel and Conference Center in Harrisburg, PA.

The Association considered many factors in making this difficult decision, as Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Wolf advised all Commonwealth employees to postpone hosting or participating in large meetings, conferences, trainings, or community events as part of the governor’s emergency disaster declaration and based on the Pennsylvania Department of Health and CDC’s recommendations.  The NLLEA is following suit and taking action for what it believes to be prudent to protect the health and wellbeing of Training Symposium attendees and speakers.

As a result of this decision, NLLEA will automatically cancel and fully refund all paid registrations. To minimize financial impact on registrants, the Association also encourages taking the following actions:

•, please provide your reservation number and last name.   Note that fees are refundable if canceled within the 24-hour period, but please cancel as soon as possible .
  • •     Training Symposium registrants who booked air travel to attend the event need to contact their respective carrier regarding their own ticket.

While this is an unfortunate development, NLLEA is confident it has made the right decision for all involved in this event. We will look forward to your attendance and participation at our Annual Conference in Montgomery, Alabama in November.  Should you have additional questions, please email Carrie Christofes, Executive Director at or call at 724.762.5939.
